Hallo alle sammen!
This week was amazing!  Started off with an amazing dinner where we just ate with our hands!  Takes a lot of practice eating rice with your fingers but it was a blast!  This week was transfers week and I am happy to say that I will be spending another transfer here in the big city of Oslo!
This week was full of fun and exciting things.  We did lose one of our baptismal dates last week but picked up 2 this week!  It was really exciting and the first one will happen on March 17th.
The work here is amazing!  Norway is amazing!  I am so grateful that I can serve here.  I am trying to cherish every moment as it seems like time is flying by.
Something I really enjoyed this week was having a couple of teaches with members who just got home from their mission!  It is always great and fun to see someone who just got back, teach again.  They all love teaching and it is my favorite part about being out here.
Have an amazing week!

Elder Egan and Elder Shanklin packing the carts with copies of the Book of Mormon. They hand out 200 copies several times a week after each performance of the musical. The theater is about 8 blocks from the office…so this is how they transport the books!

Sledding in Oslo

Oslo's most popular sled run is Korketrekkeren ("the cork screw") close to Holmenkollen. The 2-kilometer sled run is so long you take a train to get to the top.

Hei alle sammen!

Everything is going great here in Oslo. Being a Missionary is such an amazing experience.  It still snows all of the time (almost everyday) and the sun is still a rare sight behind the clouds but it's beautiful and great.
The Book of Mormon musical is still going on and always a blast.  Nothing more fun than people laughing at you when you are standing in your white shirt and tie in the freezing cold. The fact that so many people want you to take photos with them just makes for a funny evening.  Always an adventure.
We currently have 1 baptismal date and are hoping to have 2 more this week.
This past week we contacted all day everyday as 5 appointments straight fell through.  It is always fun to be out on the streets and rewarding to see what happens.
We had an amazing zone Conference last month.  The couple missionaries here in Norway sure go out of their way to make sure we are fed well.  They are amazing.

Today this will be short due to the fact that we will be going sledding (more fun than emailing) where we need to take a train to get to the top and the hill is so long, you sled for 2000 meters straight.

Ha en flott uke!

It's always a chore to get all your warm gear on.

We met Brother Servoss from Farmington, Utah at Church who was visiting Oslo.  He took this picture and sent it to our moms.
