A great week here in Noway!

Mom, first thank you for trying and helping with all of the BYU stuff!  I am sure it is a pain but I really thank you for looking into it.  I know college is expensive so where you find I know it's going to be great. I know whatever option you choose it will be a good one!  It's coming up and I'm getting excited.

I am happy the package came that I sent home. I hope you and Hazley enjoy the hats.  Eat all of the chocolate you want.  I did get my new suit and shoes.  I love the suit but I also treat it as if it is made of Gold so I don't want to wear it.

I will get my Christmas package tomorrow!  50 days late is better than not getting it.  Thank you so much.

This week has been busy and fun.  Being in Fredrikstad again was great. I love that area of Norway.  Such amazing people.  It was super weird to be on the same streets and do all of these things in an area that I know so well.  Sadly, I didn't see any of the members but I was able to be on splits with one of my best friends from the mission.  We had a lot of fun and my legs were dead after having to bike in the snow.  That's a new experience.

Being in the office is great.  There is a lot to learn!  But I love being around President Tew and learning from him.  And I work in the center because that is were the office is and we have 2 senior couples who work here and they are absolutely amazing.  One of them being the same ones who found my package last Christmas. They are from Idaho.

Other than that, I fly to Bergen in about 2 hours and won't get home until tomorrow night which means I will have enough time to get myself a reindeer hot dog in Bergen!  The next 2 weeks are busy with 4 different zone conferences and it will be a blast.  There are a lot of missionaries I have never met so it will be fun to meet the whole mission.

Love you,
Easton

Viking Ship Museum   The Gokstad Viking Ship

The Gokstad Ship in the exhibition hallGokstad was a fast ship, suitable for high sea voyages. After it was used at sea, it would be used to bury the dead on land. The man buried in it suffered cutting blows to both legs, indicating that he died in battle.
