Hi Mom and Dad,

A great week here in Oslo.  Last Tuesday I flew to Bergen and we had a zone conference on Wednesday.  It was snowing so hard and with it being Bergen, it was the thickest wettest snow. Can't wait to ski! But with all of the mountains around, it looked amazing.  After the conference I made sure I took a quick trip into down town to get myself a reindeer hot dog.  It was expensive but worth it to say I have had it.

Wednesday night, I got my Christmas package.  Thank you so much mom. The money and everything was in it.  On Thursday I was on Splits with the Stavanger Elders. I was able to be with my old Companion Eldste Ewell.  Most of our day was contacting.  And wow was it cold.  Not much came from the 4 hours of contacting but it was fun.  We also got to meet with a less active member and had a great lesson.  Really fun to be back with my old companion for a day.  I am excited to go back to Stavanger next transfer.  That night, 6 more elders joined us in our apartment because of conference being the next morning.

Friday was zone conference again in Oslo.  Really great conference and it has been fun because my companion and I give a presentation at every single one and it is nice to get 4 shots at the same presentation.

Saturday there was a baptism for an eight year old in the ward.  Fun to see that.  There was also lots to do in the office and we had a dinner at a members home.  They have a little chihuahua puppy, well at the end of the dinner and as we are leaving, I am about to put my shoes on when I fell like I stepped in something gooey.  Look down and yep, stepped in the dog crap in the house.  So I quickly took my sock off and folded it into itself.  I didn't want the members to notice that I stepped in it so I quickly put on my shoe without a sock and went out the door.  I have the sock in my hand and we take the elevator down and to our luck it breaks down.  For 30 minutes.  The worst part was that we had that stupid sock that stunk so bad.  But I am happy to say that we got stuck in an elevator for 30 minutes and it was pretty dang funny.   This is the four of us stuck in the elevator:

On Sunday, we had church as we taught Sunday School.

Monday, We drove early to the mission home to have a meeting with President Tew and have interviews and lunch.  It was great!

Today we woke up and went and filled up the van with gas.  Now we are emailing but I will again be taking a flight today with President Tew to Trondheim for another conference.

Everything is going great.  I am learning so much here. I couldn't imagine my life without my mission.

Love you both,

Eldste Egan
